Supporting Neurodivergent Children Through Creative Expression

Holistic support for families in Atlanta

Where Creativity Meets Community

That’s Bowie’s World (TBW) empowers children and families through creativity, wellness, and community. We provide hands-on programs and experiences that help young people express themselves, build confidence, and develop real world skills, while supporting families in ways that feel dignified, connected, and lasting.

About the Foundation

That’s Bowie’s World (TBW) was founded from the creative journey of Liam “Bowie” Washington, a young artist whose work reflects emotion, imagination, and fearless self-expression.

TBW is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Atlanta dedicated to supporting children and families through creativity, wellness, and community.

We create spaces, programs, and experiences that empower children to express themselves, build confidence, and develop real world skills, while ensuring families feel supported, connected, and seen.

Our approach is dignity-first and strength based. We don’t focus on limitations, we build environments where children can thrive, create, and grow into who they are.

Through initiatives like our H.E.A.R.T. Movement, workshops, and community partnerships, we are building a model that brings together creativity, opportunity, and support in a way that is both impactful and sustainable.

Liam’s Story

That’s Bowie’s World was founded through the artistic journey of Liam “Bowie” Washington, a neurodivergent child whose creativity became his way of communicating and grounding himself. Painting helped Liam express emotions, focus his mind, and explore his imagination freely. His growth through creative outlets inspired a mission dedicated to helping children of all abilities build confidence, emotional wellness, independence, and community connection.
